Mt Rainier 2024: Booking Fee
NATURE OF TODAY'S PURCHASE:
By making this purchase today you are placing the initial retainer/booking fee to secure your chosen day/time for a Mt Rainier Special Event Session with Amber Webb Photography.
These sessions will be taking place in early August 2024 at Tipsoo Lake which is part of Mt Rainier National Park. All sessions take place in the evening in order to capture that beautiful golden light. There is NO hiking required! This incredible spot is only steps away from the parking lot! All ages and abilities are welcome! (The only exception might be wheelchairs, due to the rocky terrain).
**IMPORTANT NOTE: Today's payment is for the initial Booking Fee/Retainer ONLY. You will purchase your images separately after the session (more on this below).

HOW TO BOOK:
To book a session you will scroll to the bottom of this page and click on the dropdown menu that says "Select Variant". The dropdown menu will pop up and you will click on your desired day/time. Then hit the button below the dropdown menu that says: "Add To Cart".
You'll then proceed to Checkout. During Checkout it only gives the option to pay through PayPal. HOWEVER, if you don't like to use PayPal or don't have an account with them, that's okay, you don't have to! Here is what you'll do instead: You'll still click on the "Pay via PayPal" button, however once it prompts you to login to PayPal there is a second option underneath that says: or "Pay with a Debit/Credit Card". If you click on that button you will not have to login to use PayPal, instead you will be able to simply enter your card information as a guest, and complete your payment that way!
Once you have finished the Checkout process and your payment has gone through, your chosen day/time will automatically be removed from the list and unavailable for another client to book.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS ABOUT THESE SESSIONS:
These sessions are 20-minutes in length, and are booked back-to-back in order to be able to accommodate as many families as possible in the time-frame with the best lighting!
The later your session time, the better the lighting and the more that Rainier's silhouette really "pops" in the distance. So if that matters to you then I would recommend choosing a later time! That said, this entire area is still absolutely beautiful, no matter what time of evening you choose! Please remember that this is Washington state and sometimes it's cloudy even in the summer, which means we cannot always guarantee that Rainier's silhouette will be visible in the background. However this entire cliffside area is gorgeous on it's own, regardless of what the clouds are doing that day!
Exact details on where to park and meet the photographer will be provided as the session draws near. As mentioned above, there is no hiking required to reach this spot, it is very close to the parking lot! Sessions will continue as scheduled regardless of weather. Due to the distance of these locations and the planning involved, rescheduling may not be an option if there is seriously inclement weather (such as extremely heavy rainfall or thunderstorms). In such a rare case (this doesn't usually happen in August!), all efforts will be made to find a suitable replacement location and date that works for everyone. If this is not possible then client's will be refunded their booking fee, or it can be transferred to an upcoming Special Event of their choosing.

CONSIDER MAKING IT A LONG DAY TRIP OR A WEEKEND GETAWAY!
It is highly recommended that you consider making your trip to this location a long "day trip", or even better yet a "weekend getaway". There are hotels, cabins, camping and AirBnB's nearby if you'd prefer not to do too much driving in one day. For those who have been asking about my personal recommendation: A favorite of mine, and the closest hotel I've found to Tipsoo Lake, is in Greenwater and is called the Alta Crystal Resort (it was bought by a company called Loge, so try both names when searching). It even has a pool! But wherever you choose, please don't wait too long to book! Accommodations in this area tend to book up fast in the summer months! (This is exactly why I have opened up booking so early this year, to allow plenty of time for myself and families to make appropriate arrangements, if needed!) There are many fun things for families to do in this area - I highly recommend looking into the gondola ride at nearby Crystal Mountain, it is fun and the view at the top is to die for! Plus there is a restaurant at the very top! You won't find a restaurant with better views!

THESE MOUNTAIN SESSIONS CAN BE USED FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Families, children, couples/engagement, HS Seniors, or Maternity. There is no hiking required, all ages and ability-levels are welcome!

TOTAL INVESTMENT:
Special Event Sessions are divided into TWO payments:
1. The first payment is the $150 retainer/booking fee that is paid today to secure your chosen time slot.
2. The second payment will be made AFTER your session, once you have viewed the proofs from your session and chosen your favorites that you'd like to purchase. YOU are in control of which images you purchase, and how many! This way you are only purchasing the images you love the most!

Enhanced: 10 digitals = $305
Deluxe: 15 digitals = $395
Legacy: 25 digitals = $535
Platinum: 35 digitals = $650
(Note: While the "Petite" Collection of 5 images is offered for other Special Events, it NOT offered for these Mt Rainier sessions. This location is very special, highly desired, not to mention too long of a drive - for only 5 images!)

BOOKING MULTIPLE TIME SLOTS:
If you add 2 or more time slots into your shopping cart (so that you are booking 2 sessions back to back for a longer overall session), please understand that when booking 2 sessions back to back there is a requirement to purchase 2 separate image packages from each of those sessions. (This means you'll need to purchase a minimum of two 10-image packages)

DISCLAIMER:
Because this booking fee/retainer is reserving a time on the photographer's schedule that cannot be booked by another client, it is non-refundable upon cancellation or no-show.

*A Note On Special Event Pricing:
Special Event Pricing differs greatly from booking an individual session with Amber Webb Photography. The reason for this is that during Special Events many families are seen back-to-back on the same day, and at a location pre-chosen by the photographer. Because of the quantity of families being seen, Amber is able to offer these Special Event Sessions at a lower price than if you were to book an individual session with her. With individual sessions the client is able to book their session on a specific date and at a specific location of their own choosing, and subsequently they are the only client Amber is working with that day. There is more of an investment involved with that type of exclusivity.
