Fall Sessions: Booking Fee

NATURE OF TODAY'S PURCHASE:
By making this purchase today you are placing the initial $150 Booking Fee/Retainer to secure your chosen day/time for a 2024 "Fall" Special Event Session with Amber Webb Photography.
**IMPORTANT NOTE #1: Today's payment is for the Booking Fee/Retainer only. Images will be purchased separately after your session (more on this below).
**IMPORTANT NOTE #2: If you want a "Holiday" themed session, or an "In-The-Box" Session, those will eventually have their own separate booking pages. They are not available to book on this page! This booking page is strictly for Fall Sessions only!

HOW TO BOOK:
To book a session you will click on the dropdown menu that says "Select Variant" up above. The dropdown menu will pop up and you will click on your desired location/date/time. Then hit the button below the dropdown menu that says: "Add To Cart".
You'll then proceed to Checkout. *Note: During Checkout it only gives the option to pay through PayPal. HOWEVER, if you don't like to use PayPal or don't have an account with them, that's okay, you don't have to! Here is what you'll do instead: You'll still click on the "Pay via PayPal" button, however once it prompts you to login to PayPal there is a second option underneath that says: or "Pay with a Debit/Credit Card". If you click on that button you will not have to login to use PayPal, instead you will be able to simply enter your card information as a guest, and complete your payment that way!
Once you have finished the Checkout process and your payment has gone through, your chosen day/time will automatically be removed from the list and unavailable for another client to book.

FALL SPECIAL EVENTS OFFERED IN 2024:
Please review the following list of the different dates/locations that are being offered this year for Fall photos. Detailed descriptions are given for each location. The sample photos included on this page show the different locations that will be used. Please take a look before you book!
(Please Note: Holiday-themed Sessions and In-The-Box Sessions are NOT booked on this page! Those will take place in November and they will have their own separate booking pages, so please check back in early September for those!).
1. Sun, Sept 29th:
PIONEER PARK, TUMWATER

**NOTE: DISCOUNTED RETAINER! ONE SPOT HAS JUST OPENED UP FOR THIS DATE! THE RETAINER HAS BEEN DISCOUNTED DOWN TO $100 TO HELP FILL THIS LAST-MINUTE OPENING!!
These beautiful fields are located across from the playground equipment at Pioneer Park. The last 2 years this location has given us some beautiful color, and we are hoping for the same this year! As always, I cannot make any guarantees with how the leaves will look at any location, but this park is gorgeous no matter the status of the trees! *With this date being in late September, this is your best bet if you want to avoid the colder/harsher temperatures that come later in the fall! Upon request the photographer can provide a few different prop options (child's chair, crate, a variety of blankets, etc)

2. Sun, October 6th & Sun, October 13th:
MAPLE PARK AVE, OLYMPIA

This is a new location as of last year! Everyone (myself included) really loved it last fall, so I'm including it again this year, and on two different dates! If you really want that "fall" feel with tons of colorful leaves, then this is the spot for you! This beautiful tree-lined street is located near the Olympia Capitol Building. Upon request the photographer can provide a few different prop options (child's chair, crate, a variety of blankets, etc)

3. Sun, October 27th:
SECRET SPOT, OLYMPIA

This is one of my favorite tried and true spots to use in the area, where there is never another photographer present! Usually toward the end of October we get some decent color on a couple of the trees at this location. But as always, I cannot make any guarantees with leaves! It is still a beautiful location no matter what! Upon request the photographer can provide a few different prop options (child's chair, crate, a variety of blankets, etc)

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
All Fall Special Event Sessions are 20-minutes in length and they are booked back-to-back. Multiple families will be seen on these particular days, so it is important that you are on time to your session as the photographer must remain on schedule to accommodate everyone! Exact details on where to park and meet the photographer will be provided for each location as the session draws near.

WEATHER CONCERNS:
Sessions continue as planned and are only rescheduled when there is a 40% or higher chance of rain during our scheduled time. We attempt to make this decision as close to the actual session as possible, as the forecast is constantly changing on us, and we want the most up-to-date predictions before we decide to cancel! Rescheduling multiple families is very difficult to do, so we try to keep these sessions scheduled as-is, unless we will certainly experience a rain-out. In such a case every effort is made to find a reasonable time to reschedule everyone.

TOTAL INVESTMENT:
Special Event Sessions are divided into TWO payments:
1. The first payment is the $150 retainer/booking fee that is paid today to secure your chosen time slot.
2. The second payment will be made AFTER your session, once you have viewed the proofs from your session and chosen your favorites that you'd like to purchase. YOU are in control of which images you purchase, and how many! This way you are only purchasing the images you love the most!
Below are the Digital Collections that will be available to purchase after your session:
5 DIGITAL COLLECTIONS AVAILABLE:
Petite: 5 digitals = $165
Enhanced: 10 digitals = $285
Deluxe: 15 digitals = $375
Legacy: 20 digitals = $440
Platinum: 30 digitals = $550

SINGLE-IMAGE ADD-ONS:
1 hi-res digital = $30
2 hi-res digitals = $50
3 hi-res digitals = $75

BOOKING MULTIPLE TIME SLOTS:
If you add 2 or more time slots into your shopping cart (so that you are booking 2 sessions back to back for a longer overall session), please understand that when booking 2 sessions back to back there is a requirement to purchase 2 separate image packages from each of those sessions. (This means you would need to purchase at the very minimum two of the 5-image packages.)

OPTIONAL: INTEREST-FREE PAYMENT PLAN:
You may inquire about splitting the total cost of your chosen Collection into 2 interest-free payments. The second payment will be made 2 weeks after the first. Please note that your final fully-retouched images will not be delivered until the second and final payment has been made.

A NOTE ON CHANGING DATES/TIMES:
Requests to change your session *time* only (keeping the same date/location) will be granted, as long as another time slot is still available to switch to.
Please do not request to change to a different date/location once you've booked your slot! Please only make this request if you have run into a genuine scheduling conflict.
If a request to change your date/location is made within 3 weeks of the original date you had booked, you will be asked to place a new retainer in order to switch to the new date/location. Your retainer from the original date will only be refunded if your original spot can be filled in time.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE MY IMAGES?
PROOFING GALLERIES:
You'll receive a link to your temporary proofing gallery within 1 week of your session date. Your proofing gallery will be active for 48 hours so that you have 2 full days to narrow down your favorite images that you'd like to purchase.
FINAL PURCHASED IMAGES:
Once you have chosen your favorite images from your proofing gallery and purchased them, the final retouching process will begin on your purchased images. You can expect to receive your final fully-retouched photos within 24-48 hours after your purchase was made. (One extra day may be needed for full-gallery purchases.)

Because this Booking Fee/Retainer secures a spot on the photographer's schedule, thereby making it unavailable to book by another client, it is NON-refundable upon client cancellation or no-show.

*A Note On Special Event Pricing:
For those wondering why Special Event Pricing differs so greatly from booking an individual session with Amber Webb Photography... The reason for this is due to volume. On Special Event dates multiple families are seen back-to-back on the same day, at a location pre-chosen by the photographer. Because of the quantity of families being seen, Amber is able to offer these Special Event Sessions at a lower price than if you were to book an individual session. With individual sessions the client is able to book their session on a specific date and at a specific location of their own choosing, and subsequently they are the only client Amber is working with that day. There is more of an investment involved with that type of exclusivity. Furthermore, individual sessions last longer than Special Event sessions, and there is no abrupt session cutoff due to another client being booked immediately afterward.
