Booking Fee: Newborn (Lifestyle)
By making this purchase today you are submitting the initial Booking Fee/Retainer for an in-home Lifestyle Newborn Session with Amber Webb Photography.

Session Details:
This session will take place in the client's home, and will last approximately 1-hour. Session can include: parents, siblings, and pets. Lifestyle newborn sessions are more natural, and less-posed, than studio sessions. The highly-posed newborn images taken in the studio are not typically done during Lifestyle sessions. Clear direction will still be given, and measures will be taken to ensure there is good lighting, angles, and that the subjects are not in unflattering positions. The goal of a lifestyle session is to capture the family in a comfortable home setting, with an emphasis on connections and special details.

Nature of the Booking Fee:
This Booking Fee covers the time, talent and travel of the photographer, and reserves a limited spot on her calendar.

Ordering Appointment:
This appointment takes place 7-10 days after your session, typically via Zoom. At this appointment you'll be able to view a gallery of lightly-edited proofs from your session, and choose your favorite images that you wish to purchase. All purchased images will undergo a full retouching before final delivery.

How Images Are Sold:
Images are sold in what are called "Collections" because they include a combination of digitals and printed products.
Collections start at $895 for the Petite Collection, and they go up from there depending on the amount of images/product you wish to invest in.
There is also a separate "A la Carte" pricing list where individual items can be purchased, which allows you to customize your chosen Collection.

When To Schedule The Session:
By placing this Booking Fee you are guaranteed to be fit into the photographer's schedule once baby is born. Lifestyle Newborn Sessions are best while baby is between 1 and 4 weeks old. Please contact Amber as soon as baby has been born (within 24-48 hours), so that the actual session day/time can be scheduled.
Session will need to take place during mid-daylight hours, to ensure there is adequate natural light coming into your home. Instructions will be sent prior to the session on how to best prep the areas of your home that we will be using, and to maximize the natural light available to us. If your home has very little natural light available the photographer may need to bring additional lighting to the session. This will be discussed in advance.

Non-Refundable Nature:
Because this Booking Fee acts as a retainer to secure a limited-number booking on AWP’s schedule, it is therefore non-refundable upon cancellation, as other potential clients are turned away once all spots are filled. The Booking Fee would be refunded in full if Amber Webb had to cancel due to any type of unforeseen emergency, and was unable to reschedule.

Potential Travel Fee:
The Booking Fee paid today covers the photographer's travel within a 30-mile radius of Olympia. A small travel fee may apply for further locations, but this will be discussed ahead of time. (Note: If client purchases one of the top 2 Collections, the travel fee they paid will be subtracted from the balance due for that Collection.)

Maternity Special:
For clients who book both Maternity and Newborn with AWP, they will receive an additional $125 credit to use at their Newborn Ordering Appointment.
